As CMO, she will report to Scott Murphy, head of the beverage-snack category at Inspire and president of Dunkin’. She will guide advertising, brand marketing, field marketing, strategic planning, product innovation, commercialization and digital marketing for the coffee chain.

Murphy in a statement highlighted Nelson’s “intricate knowledge of the Dunkin’ business and understanding of product trends and consumer behaviors.”
Nelson joined Dunkin’ in 2011 and was a principal architect of the chain’s five-year strategic plan in the U.S., which has been the company’s foundation since 2017. Before she came to Dunkin’, she worked with IBM Global Business Services.
