LEXINGTON— The Lexington football team wrapped up its 2024 regular season with a 35-0 win over Rogers Friday at Eagle Stadium.
The Eagles were aided by a extremely efficient third-down conversion rate as they picked up all eight attempts.
The offense was balanced, rushing for 204 yards, while passing for 267. Quarterback Kase Evans completed 15 of 21 passes and threw for three touchdowns.
On the ground, running back Noah Harris picked up chunk plays all night, rushing for 130 yards and two touchdowns on just 11 carries.
Its the second straight week Lexington (9-1, 2-1) have blanked its opponent, beating Comfort, 62-0 last week. The unit is giving up just 11.2 points per game on the season.
With the win, the Eagles clinch the No. 2 in District 13-3A-II and await their bi-district opponent next week.
