Garage Door Repair – Boost Your Google and Bing SEO Rankings [Video]

In this video, I share what I would do to rank a company better for the keyword “garage door repair.” This example looks at a company in Albany, New York. I’m using the tool Local Falcon to get a baseline on how they are ranking in a 12-mile radius.

I saw that they did not optimize their Google My Business listing fully. Some areas they could do better include using updates and showing their social media accounts and products. They could also use photos of the team members working on garages to help build trust.

For Bing, they only showcase that they serve Albany, NY. I would go through the Bing Places for Business account and add nearby towns to showcase that in the knowledge panel.

I would optimize the website’s service page with an updated title tag and URL name. Next, list off the areas they serve at the top of the page. Finally, I would embed a Google Map directly in their footer and update their hours to reflect what Google Maps shows.
