Heelan girls, East boys boys all-MRAC hoops teams [Video]

Missouri River Athletic Conference champions and Class 4A state semifinalist Bishop Heelan led the all-MRAC squad with three players named to the first-team.

Crusaders on the first-team included Melina Snoozy, Brooklyn Stanley and Abby Lee. That trio was joined on the league’s top team by Sioux City East’s Alexandra Flattery, Le Mars’ Jaelyn Marienau and Sioux City West’s Vera Grom.

Snoozy enjoyed a breakout freshman campaign as she was the conference leader in points per game at 18 a contest on a near-54% conversion rate on field goal attempts. Flattery was second at 17 points per game, and Marienau (16.2) was third.

Grom, a junior, was also among the top five in scoring as led the Wolverines at 14.9 points per game while leading the MRAC in rebounding average as Grom and Flattery tied to the MRAC lead with 9.1 boards per contest.
