How to Create a report with journey analytics in HubSpot [Video]

In this step-by-step tutorial video, we’ll guide you through creating a report using journey analytics in HubSpot in simple steps.

1. Go to Reporting, then Reports, and click on My Reports.

2. Click on Create Report in the top right corner.

3. Choose Customer Journey Reports.

4. Select a data source:
i) Pick Contacts to analyze how your content generates new contacts.
ii) Opt for Deals to evaluate how your content generates new deals.

5. Click Next.

6. On the left panel, drag and drop Steps into the “Stage” section.

7. Customize your step by clicking on the filter icon.

8. Choose a property from the dropdown menu, configure the filter, and click Apply.

9. To include a branch, drag and drop a Step into the “Create a branch” section.

10. To make a step optional, hover over it and select “Mark stage as optional.”

11. Once your stage is set up, click on “Run report” to view your data in the right panel.

12. Use the filters at the top to refine your data:
i) For Contacts, select all contacts or filter by contact lists and properties.
ii) Specify the date range for the activities, choosing between Static or Rolling options.

13. In the top right corner, click “Save report.” Adjust the access permissions, and then click “Save.”
