In this video, I dive into a new feature on our hosting platform’s website builder that’s akin to one previously available on Squarespace: the sticky bar. This feature, notably absent for WordPress sites hosted on our platform, allows for the inclusion of a promotional bar on websites. Throughout the video, I guide viewers on how to edit and customize this sticky bar, from inserting promotional text to changing text and background colors using a pre-existing color palette or adding a custom color.

Although I haven’t tested adding an image to the background yet, the customization features also include standard text formatting options like bold, italic, and underline. I discuss practical uses for the sticky bar, such as displaying opening hours, holiday closures, or urgent updates, and highlight how it appears on every page by default.

Despite the lack of an auto-close feature—a minor detail, in my opinion—I celebrate this addition as another incremental but significant improvement to our platform. I hope viewers find this new feature as useful as I do.
