Automate Your YouTube Video Uploads and Descriptions with Zapier and AI

In this video, we’ll explore a step-by-step process to automate the time-consuming task of uploading YouTube videos and writing their descriptions using Zapier and various AI tools.

1. We start by setting up a Zapier trigger to watch a Google Drive folder for new files. This will be the folder where we upload our videos.

2. Next, we use Cloud Convert to convert the uploaded video file from MP4 to MP3 format. This is necessary because the Whisper AI transcription tool has size limitations for the input file.

3. We then leverage the Whisper AI to transcribe the audio of the video, creating a text-based transcript.

4. To write the video description, we utilize Anthropic’s AI assistant. We provide the Whisper transcript as input and instruct the AI to write a detailed, step-by-step description of the video, including relevant hashtags.

5. Finally, we automatically upload the video to YouTube, using the title and description generated by the AI tools.

This process streamlines the tedious aspects of uploading YouTube content, allowing you to focus more on creating high-quality videos.
